In the 80's it started with pausing, rewinding and recording cassette tapes to make the perfect mix. In the 90's, learning the art of DJing on vinyl records.  The 00's saw Mr. Emery with titles such as video editor, live music and concert booking, live sound engineer, club owner.  Nowadays you can catch DJ NME1 performing alongside numerous national touring acts such as:  Flava Flav, Galactic, Slightly Stoopid, Perry Farrell, Juvenile, DJ Z-Trip, Macklemore.  Mixing live on air at KSMT 102.1 fm radio.  With clients such as Red Bull,  Keystone Resort, Zumiez, Tall T Productions.  Securing club residencies at Liquid Lounge (Breckenridge), Henry's Pub (San Diego), Gold Pan (Breckenridge) BBG Gaslamp (San Diego), Cecilia's (Breckenridge), Mike has always had the passion for entertaining.  Bringing good vibes and excellent tunes DJ NME1 has lit up the stage at festivals and venues such as the Boulder Theater, Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge CO, Sunsation @ Copper Mountain.  Through the residencies, tours and special events, Mike is a seasoned DJ with over 1000 events under his belt.  With a degree earned in Video Production @ AIC, he has taken video DJing to another level.  A DJ NME1 show brings a unique blend of turntablism, visuals, party rockin, crowd involvement, and song selection.
